Or make the seasonal transfer of plants from inside to outside a breeze. This simple-to-build plant dolly makes interior or exterior landscaping with your potted plants quick and easy.
Materials: exterior 1 1/4" screws, two 8 foot pieces of 1" x 4" pine board, four 3" casters Tools You'll Need: power-lite cordless drill, 10ft. or 25ft. tape measure
Barbara's Tips:

Step 1: Cut the Wood
Wearing your safety glasses, cut your 1" x 4" boards into six pieces, each 18" long. Step 2: Lay It Out
Lay two pieces parallel on your workbench with their outside edges 18" apart. These will be the top pieces of your finished dolly. Lay two 18" pieces across and perpendicular to the first two pieces (these are the bottom support pieces), making an 18" square. Secure the bottom pieces to the top using screws. Step 3: Turn it Over
Turn the square over so that the raised top pieces are facing you. Evenly space the remaining pieces of wood between the two top outside pieces and attach them to the bottom support pieces to make a level platform. Step 4: Ready to Roll
Turn the dolly over again and, using screws, attach the casters to each of the four bottom corners. Load up your plant and glide it into place. You did it yourself!
