Step 1: Note
Please be sure to follow manufacturer's installation instructions. Step 2: Lift and Center
Open the bottom window and lift the a/c onto the window sill until the top flange of the a/c align with the window sash and close the window until it sits on top of the a/c and behind the flange. The a/c now must be centered in your window. Step 3: Extend Sides
Pull out the side panels on the a/c and extend to the side window frames and secure as required. Step 4: Install Screws
Using your power screwdriver, install screws through the holes in the top a/c flange and secure to the window. Step 5: Install Insulation
Install the foam insulation where the top and or bottom of sashes are to block out any outside air infiltration. Step 6: Cool Off
You are now ready to plug in and cool off. Step 7: Care for your A/C
Cover the unit from the outside in the winter with a canvas cover to block out the cold air and protect your unit. Change the air filter every 4 weeks during the cooling season.
